Give & Take Sessions

Our “give and take” sessions offer college and university students a chance to have an informal, one hour conversation about job search and business life skills topics.  These sessions can be conducted in person or by phone.

During these sessions, we spend the first half discussing a job search topic such as resume writing, interviewing, networking or (the ever popular and not often discussed) how to foster great references.  Or, the group can select a business life skills topic such as “stepping up,” “how to disagree without getting fired” or “managing office friendships.”

During the next half, we get to ask the students questions.  These discussions are not only enlightening for us, but also help the students understand why they feel the way they do about the workplace they will enter.
